This PhD Courses research program focuses on how breastfeeding modulates the immune system of infants. In particular the composition, origin and functions of exosomes (nano-sized cell membrane-derived vesicles) in breast milk will be studied. Secretion, composition and target exosomes are strictly regulated, which has fueled the idea that exosomes are a special envoy made for communication between cells.http://www.callforpapersinfo.com
